Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior software and data engineer to design and implement cloud-based data solutions for Prime Brokerage. You will build ETL pipelines using Python and PySpark, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to Azure-based platforms including Databricks and ADLS. Strong Python and cloud experience are required.

You will work within a global team on advanced analytics and automation initiatives and participate in CI/CD and agile practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering and data engineering experience.
• Strong Python development experience with continuous hands-on use of Python and PySpark in the last 2-3 years.
• Experience with Java and/or C#.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing ETL and data processing solutions.
• Unix/Linux experience including shell operations and data analysis.
• Experience with Shell scripting, Autosys, and Oracle databases.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong understanding of SDLC within Agile delivery models.
• Experience with Azure services (ADLS, Azure Key Vault, Databricks).
• Professional communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop strategic cloud-based data solutions supporting counterparty risk and client margining in Prime Brokerage.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines using Python and PySpark with a focus on data quality and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into deliverables using a growth-minded approach.
• Develop and support Azure-based data platforms leveraging Databricks, ADLS, and Azure Key Vault; explore cloud opportunities.
