Job summary

Premier Research is seeking a Senior Project Manager Oncology to lead global oncology projects, coordinating regulatory, clinical, biometrics and safety teams to meet milestones and ensure profitability.

You will drive adherence to project plans, lead customer communications, support business development, and build relationships for future opportunities across biotech, medtech and specialty pharma clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical, biological- or science-related field, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of project management experience in CRO/Pharma/biotech industries.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control on project level.
• Experience managing complex trials across phases and lifecycle.
• Global project experience and oncology protocol knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management and coordination of global project team efforts across departments.
• Ensure adherence to budget and scope to realize profitability.
• Ensure tasks align with project plans and Premier Research procedures.
• Act as primary liaison with the customer and chair project meetings.

What You'll Be Doing

• Ensures successful management and coordination of efforts assigned to all members of the global project team, including but not limited to Regulatory, Clinical Operations, Biometrics, and Medical Affairs/Safety, to support milestone achievement and overall project delivery
• Ensures adherence to project budget and scope of work to realize project profitability
• Ensures all project tasks are completed in accordance with project plans and in compliance with standard Premier Research processes, policies and procedures
• Acts as the primary liaison between Premier Research and the customer for all assigned projects and chairs project team meetings and teleconferences
• Assists in Business Development activities, including proposal development and leading proposal presentations in partnership with Business Development and Scientific Account Leadership
• Develops strong relationships with current clients to generate new and/or add-on business for the future

What We Are Searching For

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a clinical, biological- or science-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of Project Management experience in a CRO/Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Specialty Pharma industry
• Budget/finance/costing experience on a project level
• Experience in managing complex trials, multiple phases, and full lifecycle
• Global experience required
• In depth therapeutic area and protocol knowledge in Oncology indications
