Arcadis, a world-leading design, engineering and consultancy firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Industrial & Logistics Projects in Poland. Hybrid work options across Warsaw, Wroclaw, and Gliwice, with responsibility from concept through handover, including tendering, risk management, and client coordination.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and contracts, and drive project success while aligning with client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Technical education in buildings construction.
• Minimum 5 years experience in project management delivering manufacturing/industrial projects.
• Polish building license.
• Fluency in Polish and English (written and spoken) required.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts and/or EPCM project delivery models preferred.
• Prior consultancy experience with manufacturing sector knowledge is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage greenfield and brownfield manufacturing/industrial projects from planning through handover.
• Lead tender processes and contribute to bid wins for new manufacturing projects.
• Mentor and direct project teams to ensure best practices and successful delivery.
• Manage client and commercial aspects, including contracts and risk management.
• Engage with clients to align expectations and ensure high satisfaction across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate Arcadis and external resources to optimize team performance and billability.

Senior Project Manager (Industrial & Logistics Projects)

Location: Warszawa/Wrocław/Gliwice (hybrid)

Role description

• Oversee and manage, greenfield and brownfield, manufacturing and industrial projects within the Buildings Business Line, ensuring effective planning, organization, financial oversight, and compliance with legal requirements.
• Manage projects from concept and feasibility through engineering, permitting, procurement, construction management, and commissioning phases.
• Participate in and lead tender processes, working as an integral member of the bid team to secure new manufacturing projects.
• Advise, mentor, and direct project teams to ensure best practices are followed throughout project delivery.
• Oversee and manage client and commercial management, including contract administration and risk management, to proactively minimize disputes, complaints, and claims.
• Engage with clients to understand and manage their expectations and requirements, ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate Arcadis and external project resources, including onsite engineers and subcontractors, optimizing team billability and overall project performance.
• Act as a key contact with clients and partners to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector.

Requirements

• Technical education in buildings construction or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, specifically delivering manufacturing and/or industrial construction projects, ideally with experience across all project phases (planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover).
• Demonstrated track record of managing manufacturing/industrial projects from concept through to completion and handover.
• Polish building license.
• Able to manage construction outside of residence, if required.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts and/or EPCM project delivery models preferred.
• Prior experience in a consultancy environment with a strong understanding of manufacturing sector requirements is a significant advantage.
• Fluency in Polish and English (written and spoken) required.
• Strong technical knowledge supported by hands‑on experience.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets, contracts, and risk.
• Agile, adaptable, and responsive to changing requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to present ideas clearly and concisely.
• Confident, proactive, solutions‑oriented, and client‑focused team player.
• High level of commitment and availability.

The salary range for this position is 19,075 - 28,617 PLN gross.
