Job description

Job Overview

At Relativity, we make software to help users organize data, discover the truth, and act on it. Our e‑discovery platform is used by more than 13,000 organizations around the world to manage large volumes of data and quickly identify key issues during litigation, internal investigations, and compliance projects.

The Product Management team is looking for a Senior Product Manager whose collaborative nature and strong communication skills complement experience with identifying and driving organization‑level outcomes through platform products. As a product leader, you will craft and shape the strategy for an AI‑first internal and external developer experience that accelerates our cloud transformation for the entire organization. You will define how developers discover, build, test, ship, and operate software with AI embedded in the workflow—spanning IDE experiences, self‑service platform capabilities, reusable patterns, and guardrails that make the safest path the easiest path. You will also coach, mentor, and manage your team of junior Product Managers on their core product discipline, including continuous discovery, aligning roadmaps with the overall strategy, as well as tactical execution. A successful candidate must be energized by building deep data‑driven customer empathy, collaborating with design and development, discovering opportunities through data analysis, and creating and communicating progress through clear leading indicators.

Job Description And Requirements
  • Deliver products that embed AI into the end‑to‑end software lifecycle (plan, build, test, ship, and run), including AI‑assisted development, agentic workflows, and automated operations that reduce toil and improve reliability.
  • Own the org‑wide mechanism that ensures every engineering team provisions and manages infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code (IaC)—including standards, reusable modules/templates, policy‑as‑code guardrails, CI/CD integration, and adoption metrics.
  • Serve as the tip‑of‑the‑spear for cloud transformation by creating faster, automated, and turnkey self‑service pathways that increase developer velocity—leveraging AI‑native platform capabilities to automate away repetitive work and improve developer satisfaction.
About Product Management Within Engineering Systems
  • Our Engineering Systems Product Management team focuses on three key principles—delivering tangible value to customers iteratively and frequently, having a bias to action, and leading collaboratively. We believe that innovation comes from research and expertise being paired with data‑driven experimentation and iterative development. If you have working experience in building great platform capabilities, scaling adoption for game‑changing innovation, and love delivering real value to users through frequent iterations, you’ll be right at home in Engineering Systems!
Role Responsibilities
  • Craft and shape the product strategy and portfolio that advances an AI‑first developer experience and is shaped by our cloud transformation—aligning numerous stakeholders behind a cohesive roadmap that spans product, technology, enablement, and adoption.
  • Discover and deeply understand both internal engineering, external customer needs, and market research to identify AI‑first approaches that superpower productivity across critical build, test, deployment, release, and operational workflows—including driving standardized Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption via clear incentives, guardrails, and self‑service “golden paths.”
  • Clearly communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI‑first developer workflows to audiences ranging from internal/external stakeholders to senior leaders and customers, translating complex technical concepts (AI capabilities, risk, and tradeoffs) into clear outcomes.
  • Lead with a data‑driven approach, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data from deep user, customer, market, competitive insight and data to articulate clear long‑term product vision, identify new strategic opportunities, and gain organizational buy‑in.
  • Manage effectively via Objectives and Key Results alongside leading indicators of product health and project success; drives tactics based on insights from portfolio metrics and reporting.
  • Own the operation of their portfolio, including revising roadmaps based on real‑time signals, facilitating prioritization, and defining success metrics (e.g., developer productivity, quality, reliability, and AI feature adoption) that demonstrate customer outcomes.
  • Build a scalable developer enablement flywheel by capturing best practices from early adopters, packaging them into reusable guidance (samples, templates, tutorials), and measuring impact via adoption and productivity metrics.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members by leading by example, welcoming feedback, improving team operations, and contributing to team‑wide initiatives.
  • Depending on situation, serve as a player and coach by jumping in to translate high‑level objectives into low‑level stories with requirements for improving your team’s products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools and AI‑enabled workflows to accelerate day‑to‑day product management tasks, and to scale this impact by sharing best practices and enablement across the company.
  • Familiarity and comfort with data, including ability to use data to analyze and monitor product health, set goals, back up assumptions, and track success.
  • You are excited and curious about highly complex problems, systems, and interactions.
  • A team player with proven ability to validate solutions and deliver features from inception to delivery.
  • Strong tactical execution with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Championing, creating, and delivering value via incentive‑based adoption strategies for features and platform capabilities.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation/Bicep) and CI/CD patterns that enable secure, repeatable, self‑service infrastructure provisioning at scale. Determine how to enable and accelerate these practices through the use of agentic workflows.
  • Leverage MCP servers, agentic workflows, and reusable AI skills to improve developer experience and efficiency at scale.
  • Experience building or scaling AI‑enabled developer tools (e.g., copilots, agents, code search, test generation) and measuring impact via developer productivity and quality metrics.
  • Familiarity with AI product delivery considerations such as model evaluation, prompt/agent design, data governance, privacy/security, and cost management.
  • You focus on the details, but focus your strategy on the big picture objectives.
  • Excellent communicator and presenter, both written and verbal.
Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience inspiring, managing, and coaching Product Owners as direct reports.
