Job summary

Electrolux Group in Poland seeks a Product Care Engineer to deliver technical documentation on time, maintain BOMs, user manuals, graphics and labeling data in support of product development.

You will lead Cost Optimization and Quality Improvement initiatives, collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement and suppliers, and ensure compliance with guidelines across the product lifecycle at the Oława plant.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical documentation / product development for home appliances
• Experience with cost reduction and quality improvement projects in R&D
• Experience with BOMs, User Manuals, Graphics, Labels and documentation governance

Responsibilities

• Develop & update Bill of Materials for new products and maintain existing ones
• Develop & update Graphics for control panels per guidelines and specs
• Develop & update User Manuals documentation
• Develop & update Labelling Data for regulatory and branding specs
• Lead Cost Optimization and quality improvement initiatives as project/technical leader
• Create project plans with roles, timelines and deliverables
• Prepare samples and oversee industrial trials for validation and approval

About the role

The Product Care Engineer is responsible for delivering technical documentation on time, ensuring high quality and full compliance with guidelines. This includes maintaining accurate and complete Bills of Materials (BOMs), User Manuals, Graphics, Labels, and all documentation supporting Variant Generation activities.

The position also includes the management and implementation of Product Cost and Quality Improvement initiatives, acting as project leader or technical leader at plant level.

What you’ll do

As a Product Care Engineer, you will be asked to:

• Develop & update Bill of Materials for new products and manage the maintenance of existing product by:
• analyzing product specifications, engineering drawings.
• ensuring BOMs remain aligned with manufacturing requirements, compliance and legislative requirements
• Coordinating with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, and Suppliers to ensure project execution
• Develop & update Graphics for control panels according to guidelines and commercial spec.
• Develop & update User Manuals documentation
• Develop & update Labelling Data ensuring alignment with regulatory, commercial, and branding specifications.
• Lead and execute Cost Optimization and quality improvement activities as Project/technical leader from idea initiation until projects implementation. Collaborate with related team to deliver cost efficient solution to meet the company target
• Create, define and ensure the detailed development of a Project plan, detailed with roles and responsibilities, lead time and deliverables
• Prepare samples, approve it and ensure the execution of industrial trials for validation and approval

Who you are / Your qualifications

• Fluent in English
• Italian proficiency is considered a strong plus
• High-school diploma - Bachelor's degree
• Experience in the home appliance industry will be considered an advantage
• 5+ years’ experience in technical documentation / product development, Cost reduction and Quality improvement in the R&D department of home appliances
• Experience with Microsoft Office Package/Catia/NX/AI/Teamcenter/CMS/SAP/Microsoft project

Where you’ll be
