Responsibilities
  • Managing procurement projects and tasks, including Work Orders, direct purchases, tenders, and RfX processes.
  • Supporting execution of strategic procurement projects managed by Category Managers.
  • Independently managing procurement subcategories (if applicable).
  • Leading or supporting high-value or high-complexity procurement projects under supervision.
  • Negotiating agreements and contracts to secure the best terms and conditions for LEO Pharma, ensuring all suppliers are covered by active contracts in collaboration with Category Managers and Global Legal.
  • Conducting stakeholder review meetings to align procurement activities with business objectives.
  • Providing input on supply market trends and business needs to inform category or subcategory strategies.
  • Participating in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): governance, meetings, supplier evaluations, and dispute resolution.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering expertise and guidance across all aspects of procurement.
  • Ensuring day-to-day procurement decisions align with Global Procurement Policies and Procedures (GPPP).
Qualifications
  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in procurement, sourcing, and contract management in an international environment.
  • Knowledge of direct procurement categories such as API, with experience in leading RfX and managing global tenders.
  • Procurement expertise, including supplier relationship management, risk management, and a strong understanding of regional/global markets.
  • Business insights within the pharmaceutical industry (preferable).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
