Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our Krakow team on a project relocating manufacturing processes from Canada to Poland. You will verify and test products, transfer and commission production lines and test stands, and collaborate with suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.

You will ensure compliance with European standards (EMC, LVD) and safety requirements, troubleshoot issues, and drive test system integration of hardware and software across the program.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years in manufacturing or test engineering.
• Solid hardware and manufacturing engineering expertise.
• Experience relocating production lines and test equipment.
• Hands-on FAT and SAT experience.
• Strong system validation and safety compliance experience.
• Fluent Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transfer and commissioning of manufacturing processes between sites.
• Validate and optimize test systems for new and existing products.
• Design, integrate and commission test solutions (hardware and software).
• Define technical requirements for test stands and oversee external delivery.
• Perform FAT and SAT for devices, machines and test systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers and integrators across project stages.
• Ensure devices/systems meet safety standards (EMC, LVD).

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team in a dynamic project involving the relocation of manufacturing processes from Canada to Poland. This role will focus on the verification and testing of products, including the transfer and commissioning of production lines and test stands to our facilities in Krakow. You will collaborate with suppliers and integrators throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with European standards and regulations. Your tasks

• Coordinating the transfer and commissioning of manufacturing processes between production sites
• Implementing, validating, and optimizing test systems for new and existing products
• Designing, integrating, and commissioning test solutions that encompass both hardware and software
• Defining technical requirements for test stands and overseeing their implementation by external suppliers
• Conducting FAT and SAT for devices, machines, and test systems
• Collaborating with suppliers and integrators at all project stages, from defining requirements to final acceptance and validation
• Ensuring compliance of devices and systems with safety requirements and applicable standards such as EMC and LVD
• Troubleshooting technical issues related to manufacturing processes and test systems

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or test engineering
• Deep expertise in hardware and manufacturing engineering processes
• Proven experience in coordinating the relocation of production lines and test equipment
• Hands-on mastery of FAT and SAT procedures
• Practical experience in designing and implementing test systems for production
• Strong command of system validation and compliance with safety standards
• Advanced level of Polish and English

Nice to have

• Experience with troubleshooting and integrating hardware and software systems
• Familiarity with European manufacturing regulations and directives
