What You'll Do at Pega

• Create and manage powerful, Kubernetes-native systems using Golang, Java or Python.
• Develop designs for services in a cloud-native environment with a focus on integrating and optimizing GenAI models.
• Ensure high quality and smooth releases by heavily investing in tests and automation.
• Explore new tools and technologies to improve Pega Cloud, especially in the realm of Generative AI.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Operations teams in an Agile way.
• Offer guidance and support to teammates, particularly in the area of GenAI development and implementation.

Who You Are

• You are a passionate developer with a deep interest in Generative AI.
• You stay updated with the latest advancements in GenAI, including models, use cases, and industry trends.
• You understand DevOps culture well and consider yourself technically versatile.
• You bring good practices around design patterns to support our Pega Cloud with our "as-a-Service" evolution, particularly in GenAI.

What You've Accomplished

• Designed microservices-based architecture leveraging cloud-native design patterns and serverless frameworks, with emphasis on scalability and HA.
• Very strong knowledge of Golang, Java, Python or similar languages.
• Very good understanding and experience in Cloud technologies, ideally with multi-cloud perspective (knowledge level of AWS Associate Architect or equivalent for Google or Azure).
• Very good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Helm/Terraform).
• Very good knowledge and experience in Docker and Kubernetes (CKAD certification is a plus).
• Proven ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, debug, and work with Linux and development stack (Linux, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Generative AI. If you lack direct experience, demonstrate knowledge and a strong passion for Generative AI.
• Passionate about staying updated with the latest GenAI advancements and applying them to real-world use cases.
