Job summary

Inetum Polska is seeking an experienced Senior PostgreSQL / Data Engineer to join a team building a high-performance data platform for the financial markets. You will work on near real-time processing, managing ~40 million messages per day and a 2-year retention strategy.

You will design, develop and optimize data flows, ensure reliability, and integrate with RabbitMQ and other messaging systems. Strong PostgreSQL, partitioning, indexing and Linux experience required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong commercial experience with PostgreSQL.
• Must have very good understanding of PostgreSQL architecture.
• Must have hands-on experience with table partitioning.
• Must have strong knowledge of database indexing and query optimization.
• Must have experience with B-Tree, Hash, GIN, GiST and/or BRIN indexes.
• Must have experience building or maintaining ETL processes.
• Must have experience working with large-scale / Big Data environments.
• Must have good knowledge of Linux.
• Must have experience working with performance-critical database environments.
• Fluent Polish and English.

Responsibilities
