Job summary

You will design, develop, and evolve internal products, contribute hands-on to software development, and mentor engineers while driving engineering excellence across agile teams; the role offers hybrid work from Kraków 6 days a month.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Python and Django.
• Strong commercial experience with Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
• Experience designing and deploying solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Experience building event-driven architectures.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and query optimization.
• Knowledge of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with cloud-native application design and microservices.
• Experience with observability, monitoring and operational excellence.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Openness to work hybrid from Kraków office 6 days a month.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable applications using Python and Node.js.
• Build and enhance cloud-native services running on Google Cloud Platform.
• Architect and manage solutions on Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Pub/Sub.
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases for high-concurrency workloads.
• Own the full lifecycle of services, ensuring resilience, observability and cost efficiency.
• Design and manage OAuth2 and OpenID Connect integrations.
• Drive engineering excellence, best practices and code quality across teams.
• Identify opportunities for automation and eliminate manual operational activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers and actively share knowledge across teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing platforms.
