GFT Technologies SE in Poland seeks a versatile software engineer for a strategic security platform initiative. You will merge software development, cloud architecture, and leadership to raise engineering standards across agile teams.

The role emphasizes automation, reliability, and security. Responsibilities include building Python/Django and Node.js services on Google Cloud, managing GKE, implementing event-driven patterns with Pub/Sub, and optimizing PostgreSQL while integrating OAuth2/OpenID

Qualifications

Proven commercial experience with Python and Django.
Proven commercial experience with Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
Experience deploying solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Experience building event-driven architectures.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and query optimization.
Knowledge of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
Experience with cloud-native application design and microservices.
Experience with observability, monitoring and operational excellence.
Knowledge of software architecture and engineering best practices.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain scalable applications using Python and Node.js.
Build and enhance cloud-native services running on Google Cloud Platform.
Architect and manage solutions on Google Kubernetes Engine.
Design and implement event-driven architectures using Pub/Sub.
Optimize PostgreSQL databases for high-concurrency workloads.
Own the full lifecycle of services, ensuring resilience, observability and cost efficiency.
Design and manage OAuth2 and OpenID Connect integrations.
Drive engineering excellence, best practices and code quality across teams.
Identify opportunities for automation and eliminate manual operational activities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Mentor engineers and actively share knowledge across teams.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing platforms.
