Job summary

Tesco Kraków is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for the Developer Experience & Enablement Platform (DEEP). You will architect and ship platform capabilities, build intelligent infrastructure, and drive adoption across multiple teams while ensuring reliability and performance.

Hybrid work with 60% on-site collaboration in Kraków and rest remote. The role requires 8+ years in infrastructure or full-stack development, strong cloud, IaC, and system design skills, plus excellent English

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade infrastructure and/or applications.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), infrastructure-as-code and networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, ingress).
• Strong expertise in system design and full-stack development.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to own projects end-to-end, from concept to production.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build new intelligent capabilities of the platform, including AI-driven workflows; write RFCs/ADRs and drive technical consensus.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure, shared libraries, and tooling that support engineering teams.
• Drive platform adoption by attracting new teams.

• Promote engineering excellence through advanced engineering practices, automation, testing, and observability.

About the roleWe’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our Developer Experience & Enablement Platform (DEEP) team.
