Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a seasoned Data Security Architect to lead the design, implementation and governance of robust data security frameworks across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will shape the data protection architecture, validate controls and ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements.

This role drives PKI, Digital Certificate Management, Encryption and Key Management initiatives, and coordinates with Engineering, Infrastructure and Applications teams to

Qualifications

• Mandatory technical skills in Encryption, PKI, certificate management and data security.
• Experience in designing architecture and implementing data security solutions.
• Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography and crypto lifecycle.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language and REST integration.
• Strong communication and ability to map complex enterprise relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and governance of data security frameworks.
• Drive PKI, Digital Certificate Management, Encryption and Key Management initiatives.
• Lead cloud-based certificate management initiatives.
• Perform Security Impact Assessments against Data Protection controls.
• Suggest improvements to tools, processes and maturity of data security services.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure and Applications teams to develop solutions.
