Job summary

Appliscale sp. z o.o is seeking an experienced Senior PHP Drupal engineer to own architecture, performance, security and deployments for a high-impact production site driving critical SEO traffic.

You will work with a technically autonomous SEO team, bridging backend Drupal development with modern front-end needs. Responsibilities include building Drupal 10 modules, implementing technical SEO, deploying apps, monitoring with Datadog, and ensuring security and updates.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of production software development experience.
• Hands-on experience in Drupal 10 custom module development.
• Strong mastery of PHP 8.x, Symfony, and Twig.
• Solid understanding of technical SEO principles (URL structure, redirects, page speed, structured data).
• Proactive, autonomous mindset with end-to-end ownership.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• SCRUM/Kanban Agile experience.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Developing custom Drupal 10 modules using PHP 8.x, Symfony components, and Twig templating.
• Driving technical SEO implementation including URL structure, redirects, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
• Performing deployments of the applications.
• Monitoring system health and site performance with Datadog.
• Executing security patches and Drupal updates.

As the senior PHP Drupal engineer in the high-impact production site driving critical SEO traffic, you will take full accountability for architecture, performance, security, and deployments. You will operate with high autonomy as part of the technical SEO team, bridging custom Drupal backend engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Developing custom Drupal 10 modules using PHP 8.x, Symfony components, and Twig templating
• Driving technical SEO implementation, including URL structure, redirects, Core Web Vitals/page speed optimization, and structured data
• Performing deployments of the applications
• Monitoring system health and site performance using Datadog, ensuring high availability and stability
• Executing regular security patches, Drupal updates, and core upgrades
• Supporting the editorial team with CMS workflows and contributing to headless CMS architecture
• Debugging issues
• Scoping and assessing the complexity of features
• Participation in on-call rotation

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of production software development experience
• Hands-on experience in Drupal 10 custom module development
