Job summary

Polcode is a Poland-based software house delivering web, mobile, and eCommerce products for clients worldwide. You will independently own the implementation of payment modules for PrestaShop and WooCommerce as the sole developer on this project—driving REST API integration, security, and end-to-end delivery.

We offer a short, clearly scoped engagement (4–5 weeks) with a Product Delivery Manager and QA Engineer, starting in the second half of August.

Qualifications

• Senior-level PHP with commercial e-commerce experience.
• Hands-on experience building PrestaShop modules.
• Experience developing WordPress/WooCommerce plugins.
• Strong REST API experience and payment gateway integrations.
• Independent, able to drive implementation without daily guidance.
• Unit testing experience for integration logic.
• Full-time availability for the project duration.
• Availability to start in the second half of August.

Responsibilities

• Develop payment modules for PrestaShop and WooCommerce.
• Integrate e‑commerce platforms with a payment gateway via REST API.
• Implement payment flows, transaction statuses, refunds, and webhooks.
• Build configuration options for store administrators.
• Make pragmatic architecture and implementation decisions independently.
• Take responsibility for security, code quality, and platform compatibility.
• Work closely with a Product Delivery Manager and QA Engineer.
• Deliver production-ready modules within the agreed project scope.
