Job summary

Rublon is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator to lead large-scale migrations and transform Oracle environments into RAC-based platforms in Warsaw. You will collaborate with application and infrastructure teams through design, migration, SIT/UAT, cutover, and post-migration support to ensure stability and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on Oracle RAC installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience migrating databases, including data center relocations.
• Experience moving Oracle environments from standalone to RAC.
• Strong knowledge of Grid Infrastructure, ASM, RMAN, backup/recovery, and HA.
• Experience supporting testing during migrations and major changes.
• Strong Oracle performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong Linux/UNIX knowledge.
• Experience with ITSM processes (incident, change, problem).
• Proficiency in Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support Oracle RAC environments.
• Migrate databases between data centers and platforms.
• Transform standalone databases into clustered RAC environments.
• Support migration planning, cutovers, and post-migration stabilization.
• Ensure high availability, performance, backup and recovery of Oracle databases.
• Troubleshoot Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, ASM and performance issues.
• Support SIT, UAT, and performance testing during database changes and migrations.
• Work closely with application, infrastructure and project teams.
• Manage database changes per ITSM processes.
• Provide technical expertise during migration windows.
