Job summary

N-iX is seeking aSenior Operations Engineer to join our operations team, supporting and maintaining production systems, troubleshooting issues, and driving automation across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will monitor health, document procedures, perform updates, and collaborate with colleagues to improve efficiency. The role offers flexible hours with a mix of office and remote work and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Basic Linux and/or Windows administration with troubleshooting abilities.
• Exposure to scripting or programming with Python and Bash.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferable, but also AWS is taken into consideration).
• Awareness of monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addresses, DNS, troubleshooting).

• System Monitoring & Support: Monitor system health and performance, respond to alerts, and resolve issues to ensure reliable operations.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) is a plus
