Job summary

Ramboll Group in Poznań is seeking an experienced Senior Pipeline Engineer to guide onshore/offshore projects from feasibility to operation. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with civil, geotechnical, environmental, GIS, O&M and electrical specialists.

You will bring 8+ years of pipeline experience, strong standards knowledge, FEED/detailed design expertise, and excellent communication in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in onshore/offshore pipeline engineering – gas, hydrogen, CO2 or energy infrastructure.
• Good understanding of pipeline design standards and industry practice.
• Experience with FEED and detailed design projects; constructability & installation experience a plus.
• Project management or package leadership experience is advantageous but not required.
• Experience with offshore pipelines/cables is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and Polish language proficiency alongside fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on onshore/offshore pipeline or windfarm cable projects, including routing and design analyses.
• Develop studies, calculations, specifications, reports and design philosophies.
• Support delivery from feasibility through FEED, detailed design, construction and operation.
• Coordinate with civil, geotechnical, environmental, GIS, O&M and electrical teams.
• Lead projects or work packages and contribute to tenders and client engagement.
• Collaborate across Ramboll globally to deliver high-quality solutions for clients.
