Job summary

SoftServe’s AI Research team is seeking a Senior Network Subject Matter Expert to contribute to a Human Evaluation Program focused on enterprise networking AI. You will validate diagnostic workflows, assess remediation recommendations, and help build high-quality datasets that improve AI performance across Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Security, and Collaboration domains.

You will review network incidents, curate training scenarios, and author annotated examples with remediation guidance

Qualifications

• Senior-level network expertise with CCNP/CCIE certification.
• Proven root cause analysis across multi-vendor networks.
• Strong Cisco CLI proficiency (show, debug, diagnostics).
• Experience with Cisco Meraki, ThousandEyes, Catalyst Center, Nexus Dashboard.
• Excellent documentation and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Review network incidents and diagnostic datasets to confirm root cause identification and remediation.
• Evaluate AI-generated troubleshooting steps for technical accuracy and practicality.
• Curate realistic problem scenarios and expert-verified training examples across Cisco Catalyst Center, Meraki, ThousandEyes, Nexus Dashboard, ACI, HyperFabric, Intersight, Secure Firewall Management Center, Splunk, and Webex.
• Author annotated training examples with remediation guidance and risk analysis.
• Provide structured feedback to improve annotation guidelines and evaluation rubrics.
• Use RESTful APIs and GenAI tools to extract, analyze, and document diagnostic data for model training.
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI researchers, engineers, and project managers to incorporate SME feedback into model development.

About The Role

• Evaluate AI-generated troubleshooting steps and recommendations for technical accuracy, completeness, and operational practicality
• Curate realistic problem scenarios and expert-verified training examples across Cisco Catalyst Center, Meraki, ThousandEyes, Nexus Dashboard, ACI, HyperFabric, Intersight, Secure Firewall Management Center, Splunk, and Webex
• Author annotated training examples with step-by-step remediation guidance and risk impact analysis
• Provide structured feedback to improve annotation guidelines, validation criteria, and evaluation rubrics
• Use RESTful APIs and GenAI tools to extract, analyze, and document diagnostic data for model training and evaluation
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI researchers, engineers, and project managers to incorporate SME feedback into model development

Requirements

• Senior-level network expertise (CCNP/CCIE) with deep Cisco routing, switching, and data center experience
• Proven root cause analysis skills across complex, multi-vendor network incidents
• Expert-level Cisco CLI proficiency, including show, debug, and diagnostic commands
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, ThousandEyes, Catalyst Center, and Nexus Dashboard
• Strong technical documentation skills (recommendations, Methods of Procedure, impact assessments)
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, network automation, and practical use of GenAI tools
• Upper-Intermediate English level to communicate within a multicultural, cross-functional environment
