Job summary

Dun & Bradstreet is hiring a Senior Network Engineer in Warsaw, Poland, to lead design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise and cloud network infrastructure with a strong AWS and GCP focus.

The role requires 8+ years in network engineering, Cisco expertise, and familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform and automation with Ansible. You will collaborate with Technology leadership and MSPs to deliver secure, scalable networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise cloud architecture focusing on AWS and GCP.
• Networking certifications such as CCNA/CCNP preferred.
• Deep understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, security appliances, VPNs, and services.
• Experience with AWS VPCs, Direct Connect, and enterprise GCP VPCs; Python/Java or IaC familiarity.
• Proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, and network configuration automation.
• Strong leadership, vendor management, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define cloud network requirements and architecture aligned with business goals.
• Manage LAN/WAN implementations, including routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless.
• Lead network infrastructure, coordinate with MSPs, cloud providers, and vendors.

The Senior Network Engineer serves as a technical leader in the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise and cloud network infrastructure. This role partners closely with Technology leadership, engineers, and end users to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing network solutions with a strong focus on AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities:

• Define cloud network requirements, establish architecture, and create detailed designs and standards that meet business goals.
• Manage and support LAN/WAN implementations and configurations, including routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, voice, and video solutions.
• Provide leadership in managing network infrastructure and related support organizations, including MSPs, cloud providers, and communications vendors.
• Perform root-cause analysis and problem resolution; provide recommendations, build consensus, and execute solutions.
• Recommend appropriate courses of action to network infrastructure engineers, NOC, MSPs, and IT management on technical and operational issues

Essential skills and/or Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering
• Expert knowledge of enterprise-level cloud architecture with a focus on network design and
  implementation (AWS and GCP, with a focus on GCP).
• Networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent is preferred
• Expert knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and standards; VPN access; firewalls;
  proxies; and other security appliances and solutions.
• Thorough knowledge of Cisco routers and switches, HSRP, GLBP, VSS, multi-VRF, BGP, MPLS,
  OSPF, TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, SNMP, Cisco wireless (WLC & ISE), and Windows networking.
• Experience deploying and managing AWS VPCs and Direct Connect and enterprise-level GCP
  VPCs.
• Experience with high-level programming languages such as Python or Java, or familiarity with
  Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience using Ansible to automate network configuration standardization.
• Understanding of NOC operations and the ability to manage day-to-day incidents and problem
  resolution.
• Experience implementing proactive network management and monitoring solutions.li>
• Strong knowledge of business environments, network and security infrastructure, and supported
  services.
• Strong problem management skills, including risk identification, assessment, and corrective action
  planning.
• Leadership ability to create vision, scope, and plans for future network and security infrastructure
  requirements.
• Ablility to translate business and product needs into resilient technical solutions.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience managing multiple vendors, reviewing new features, and negotiating as needed.
• Ability to lead network deliverables and provide technical leadership and cross-training to less
  experienced engineers.
• Ability to participate in a support rotation schedule, including weekends, to support the
  organization’s technologies and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills
