Job summary

Sii Sp. z o.o. is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer with Juniper and strong experience in large-scale production networks.

You will manage lifecycle across global points of presence, data centers, and backbone infrastructure, coordinating with vendors and engineering teams to ensure operational excellence. The role offers remote work flexibility. You will lead upgrades, validate configurations in a lab, and contribute to runbooks while maintaining robust network operations and scalability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production network environment with a focus on operational execution.
• Hands-on experience with networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista
• Proficiency in core networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF/ISIS, and IPv4/IPv6
• Solid understanding of large-scale network operations, including executing network change operations and software upgrades
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor escalations and coordinate support resolution
• Advanced level of English
• Strong organizational and execution skills with attention to detail (optional)
• Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration skills (optional)
• Scripting ability in Python or a similar language (optional)
• Familiarity with network automation tools such as Ansible (optional)
• Experience improving operational processes by reducing manual steps and increasing repeatability (optional)

Responsibilities

• Lifecycle management for production network platforms across global POPs and data centers.
• Plan and execute fleet-wide network upgrades; ensure device qualification and readiness.
• Lead infrastructure rollout across global POPs, data centers and backbone.
• Run a dedicated lab to validate hardware, configurations and automation tooling.
• Collaborate with engineers and vendors to investigate issues and manage escalations.
• Support network scalability, compliance and operational consistency.
• Contribute to runbooks and change lifecycle documentation.
