Job summary

Sii Sp. z o.o. in Piła is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to manage and support production network platforms across global data centers and POPs. You will drive lifecycle management, coordinate fleet-wide upgrades, and collaborate with vendors to ensure operational excellence.

The role offers remote work flexibility and requires strong English skills, plus hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Arista and core routing protocols. Ownership of lab validation and runbooks is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production network environment focusing on operational execution.
• Hands-on experience with networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista.
• Proficiency in core networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF/ISIS, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Solid understanding of large-scale network operations, including executing change operations and software upgrades.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor escalations and coordinate support resolution.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Support lifecycle management for production network platforms, including hardware, software, firmware, and OS versions across global POPs and data centers.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute fleet-wide network upgrade initiatives with qualification and readiness checks.
• Lead infrastructure rollout across global POPs, data centers, and backbone network.
• Operate a dedicated lab to validate hardware platforms, configurations, and automation tooling.
• Partner with network engineers and vendors to investigate issues, manage escalations, and document resolutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support network scalability, compliance, and operational consistency.
• Contribute to runbooks, processes, and procedures for changes and lifecycle activities.
