Job summary

WLG in Bydgoszcz is seeking a senior network engineer to provide advanced Level 3 support in a multi-domain enterprise environment. You will lead resolution of critical incidents and drive improvements from the drawing board to change windows.

The role requires strong design, implementation and support of scalable networks using BGP, MPLS, IPv6 and SD-WAN, with CCNP certification and extensive experience across routing and switching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of progressive network experience.
• At least eight years in complex network engineering roles.
• CCNP certification (Enterprise or Service Provider) is required.
• Expert knowledge of BGP, MPLS, IPv6, OSPF, IS-IS, IP multicast and SD-WAN.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced Level 3 support across complex enterprise network environments.
• Lead the technical resolution of high-impact, high-severity incidents.
• Analyse recurring issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Shape and deliver network improvements from design to change window.
• Ensure technical correctness and minimal service impact during changes and deployments.
• Perform remote routine maintenance on routing and switching elements across sites.
• Coordinate standardisation and best practices for routing and switching.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Design, configure and maintain routing infrastructure for exercise scenarios and operations.
• Coordinate on-site surveys, validation and acceptance testing into the routing infrastructure.
• Keep technical documentation accurate and share learnings with the team.
