Job summary

Solid Company seeks a senior network engineer to assess and design network infrastructure for migration planning within a complex enterprise environment.

You will analyze connectivity, traffic patterns, and segmentation, collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to validate usage, dependencies, and migration readiness. The role offers international exposure and daily English usage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or related senior roles.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking environments and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze NICs, IP addressing, VLANs, network zones, and existing traffic paths.
• Validate Data and Management traffic flows with application teams.
• Identify backup, replication, and other traffic types using the Management path.
• Define the target network architecture, connectivity model, and migration approach.
• Assess NIC port availability and capacity constraints across the infra.
• Support migration execution, troubleshooting, and post-migration validation.

Job description

Project:

• Financial project focused on network infrastructure assessment and migration planning within a complex enterprise environment
• Analyze existing network connectivity, traffic flows, and segmentation to support future-state architecture definition
• Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to validate network usage patterns, identify dependencies, and assess migration readiness
• Support migration activities, troubleshooting issues, and ensure smooth transition through post-migration validation
• Flexible work organization with Scandinavian organizational culture and work-life balance
• Additional training financed by the company; international environment with daily English usage
