We drive customer solutions and provide technical expertise and innovation to the network connectivity domain. Currently, we’re looking for a driven, self-reliant Senior Network Automation Test Engineer on the lookout for new, exciting professional challenges.

Location: Kraków office / remote

Project Description

The purpose of this role is to ensure the quality and security of the development produced by the Network Automation Team. Since the products developed by the team directly instantiate intent on our customer network, any defects can have a detrimental effect. We need to maintain quality and ensure we have an auditable record for compliance against ISO standards.

Technology

Python, XML, JSON, YAML, REST/SOAP, GitLab, CI/CD, Cisco NSO, networking skills, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes, Unit Testing, regression testing, integration Testing, Acceptance testing Security Testing and Performance testing

Requirements

• Ecellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Working knowledge of Unix (REHL, Centos), NETCONF / REST / RESTCONF / SOAP
• Proficiency in parsing data structures technologies - XML, JSON (with XPATH or JSONPATH), and YAML
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab, CI/CD, and Pipelines in the context of software development.
• Good networking skill (L2 VPN, L3 VPN, EVPN, MPLS, SR, LDP, BGP and IGP)
• Understanding Cisco NSO service and workflow engine example Itential IAP.
• Understanding of network services, including different port types, Internet, IPVPN, Cloud Connectivity, and L2VPN.
• Hands-on experience in various testing methodologies, including Unit, regression testing, integration Testing, Acceptance testing Security Testing and Performance testing.
• Ability to work from Jira story tickets.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Proven experience working with Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum)

• Proven ability to engage with internal stakeholders for alignment and updates.
• Experience contributing to technical design discussions with valuable insights.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Competency in service modeling using YANG.
• Working knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge and experience in Robot Framework
  
  

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within a cross-functional DevOps model to ensure seamless integration of development and operations processes.
• Take ownership of maintaining stable end-to-end CI/CD test pipelines, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Report, track, and drive the closure of defects identified during end-to-end testing, actively contributing to the improvement of overall system quality.
• Collaborate with teams operating across different time zones, fostering effective communication and cooperation.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and remotely, showcasing self-motivation and proficiency with limited supervision.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating clear and concise interaction within the team and with external stakeholders.
• Manage multiple tasks concurrently, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet deadlines to ensure project timelines are adhered to.
• Actively contribute as a team player, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting the overall success of the team and projects
