Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Engineer with Cloud and AI expertise to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable web applications and services using .NET, cloud, and AI technologies, with strong front-end skills.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers across multiple offices (Katowice, Gdansk, Poznan, Lodz, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Krakow) and work on-site three days per week, combining hands-on development with architectural and DevOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional software development with C# and .NET technologies (ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core).
• Hands-on experience with front-end tech like React or Angular, including state management and responsive design.
• Experience building interfaces that integrate with back-end services and APIs.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and cloud-native architectures.

We're looking for an experienced Senior .NET Engineer with Cloud and AI expertise to become part of a dynamic development team working on a project for one of our key clients. Your role will involve designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and robust web applications and services through .NET, cloud, and AI technologies, along with strong front-end development skills. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that support business objectives and improve user experience. Please note that working from the office in Katowice, Gdansk, Poznan, Lodz, Warsaw, Wroclaw, or Krakow, 3 days per week, is required.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain web-based applications, services, and APIs leveraging .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core, etc.) alongside modern front-end frameworks
• Develop responsive, intuitive, and high-performing user interfaces using front-end technologies such as React or Angular
• Work with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to establish application requirements and architecture across both front-end and back-end layers
• Manage deployment, integration, and monitoring of software across cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Apply cloud-native principles through technologies such as serverless computing, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud storage solutions
• Incorporate and utilize AI technologies within practical, real-world projects
• Assess, choose, and deploy AI models and frameworks that go beyond basic tool usage
• Spot opportunities where AI can enhance process automation, analytics, or products
• Communicate AI concepts and workflows clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike
• Guarantee application security, performance, and scalability by following best practices in these areas along with cloud architecture
• Diagnose and fix technical problems in both production and non-production settings, spanning full-stack components
• Take part in code reviews to maintain code quality, reusability, and long-term maintainability across the full stack
• Streamline deployment through automated CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous feature delivery
• Keep current with emerging trends in .NET frameworks, front-end frameworks, cloud and AI technologies, and related development tools
• Guide junior engineers and help build the team's collective technical expertise

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or comparable practical experience
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET technologies (ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core)
• Strong hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular, including component architecture, state management, and responsive design
• Proven ability to build seamless, user-friendly interfaces that integrate effectively with back-end services and APIs
• Practical experience working with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Solid grasp of cloud-native architectures and associated tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless frameworks
• Proven hands-on experience applying AI technologies to real-world project scenarios
• Skill in assessing, choosing, and implementing AI models and frameworks that extend past basic tool usage
• Solid comprehension of AI/ML fundamentals including model training, data preprocessing, and prompt engineering
• Track record of recognizing where AI can be applied for process automation, analytics, or product improvements
• Knowledge of the constraints and best practices surrounding AI adoption and deployment
• Ability to break down AI concepts and workflows for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Skilled in working with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
