Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking an Application Engineer to lead the technical delivery of enterprise software solutions within the Risk Management Solutions Delivery Portfolio. You will supervise technical work, ensure coding standards, and collaborate with architecture and business teams to design cost-effective, fit-for-purpose solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, code reviews, and shaping best practices across project teams.

Qualifications

Proficiency with .NET stack including C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC and Windows Services.
Strong SQL Server skills including stored procedures, views and functions (T-SQL) and experience with SSIS/SSAS.
Experience with client-side technologies (JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery) and RESTful services.
Azure cloud infrastructure and services experience; knowledge of OpenAI integration is a plus.
Ideally familiar with reporting tools such as Power BI and data querying.
Experience with modern web app architectures and supervisory project leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop robust, high-performance enterprise software within EY ET and Risk Management Solutions Delivery Portfolio.
Conduct code reviews and provide accurate effort estimates for project phases.
Collaborate with architecture, business sponsors, and teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
Supervise technical tasks, ensure adherence to coding standards, and drive quality practices across the team.
Translate design and architecture deliverables into detailed design and build artifacts.
Distribute technical information to leads and teams as needed.
Monitor adherence to engineering methodologies and manage risks to project delivery.
