Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking a technology‑savvy .NET professional to move projects to a new track using Azure cloud services. The role involves delivering high-quality code, collaborating with global teams, and contributing to international projects based on .NET on Azure.

We value strong knowledge of .NET, Azure services, and modern CI/CD practices. The position offers a hybrid work model with 2 days in office in Katowice and 3 days remote, within EY's global delivery network.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience with .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core).
• Experience with Azure services such as Functions, Logic Apps, Web Apps and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of architectural and design patterns; strong debugging and testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop software using object-oriented and functional styles across the stack.
• Ensure high-quality coding and testing practices in projects.
• Adopt Agile methodologies and CI/CD for reliable delivery.
• Create solutions that integrate on-premise and cloud-based systems.

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

We are looking for a top-notch technology savvy specialists willing to move our projects on the new track! You will use the most advanced technology stack and have an opportunity to develop and implement new solutions while working with top leaders in their industries. As a part of our global team you will participate in international projects based on .Net on Azure Cloud platform.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Applying object-oriented and functional programming styles to real-world software engineering problems.
• Demonstrate understanding of high-quality coding and testing practices.
• Adopt Agile software delivery techniques and technologies including Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
• Developing solutions using a variety of technologies and tools to marry on-premise and cloud-based systems together.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Knack for writing clean, readable code in line with most well-known software design patterns and good practices.
• Eager to learn new technologies and frameworks including Azure Cloud

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 3+ years of commercial experience with .Net technologies (C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework or NHibernate, WCF)
• Experience with some of the following Azure services: Functions, Logic apps, Web Apps, SQL Server and others
• Knowledge of Architectural and Design patterns
• Experience working with web services / APIs e.g. SOAP / REST
• Knowledge of Clean Code and Unit Testing
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience with source code management (GIT), Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and automated deployment
• Fluent English (spoken and written)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Azure certificates will be a plus
