Job summary

Akvelon is seeking Middle and Senior .NET Software Engineers to join a long-term enterprise cloud project. You will design, develop, and operate cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure, combining backend development with production support and continuous improvement.

The role involves investigating production issues, ensuring security, and collaborating with international teams across Poland and Serbia. DRI-style on-call considerations are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET.
• Production-grade backend development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Web APIs and distributed cloud-native applications.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot production service issues.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• English sufficient for international teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and backend services using C# and .NET.
• Build and support Web APIs and background services.
• Work with Azure services such as Service Bus, Key Vault, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, and Redis.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and mitigate production issues.
• Improve service reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Apply secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers across international teams.
