Job summary

Akvelon is looking for Middle Software Development Engineers to join a long‑term enterprise cloud project. You will be part of a team responsible for developing and supporting cloud‑native services on Microsoft Azure.

The role blends backend development with production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of critical services, and requires comfort with investigating production issues and distributed cloud systems.

Qualifications

• Strong C# and .NET proficiency with Go willingness to learn.
• Experience designing cloud-native applications on Azure (Web APIs, Functions, Cosmos DB).
• Hands-on Kubernetes-based stack (Docker/K8s/Helm/registries; AKS).
• Solid Linux/Unix fundamentals and remote management tooling.
• Secure coding practices and threat-aware engineering mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support cloud-native services running on Microsoft Azure.
• Investigate production issues and troubleshoot distributed cloud systems.
• Improve reliability and performance of business-critical services.
• Collaborate on security, governance, and incident response initiatives.
