Job summary

Voodoo is seeking a dedicated Game Designer for Paper Party, the multiplayer mode of Paper.io 2. You will improve existing modes and create new ones within the Paper universe, maintaining core controls and camera while exploring fresh rules, objectives, pacing and replayability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mobile F2P games, designing new games, gameplay modes or prototypes from scratch.
• Experience shipping player-facing content, ideally in mobile games.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.
• A pragmatic and iterative approach to prototyping, testing, cut and retry.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype new gameplay modes
• Improve existing Paper Party modes
• Define simple, readable rules for one-finger controls
• Iterate quickly through testing, feedback and playtests
• Balance accessibility, competition, pacing and replayability
• Identify weak ideas early and confidently cut or reshape them
• Work closely with the Paper.io 2 team to turn concepts into playable experiences
• Document your designs clearly
• Fine-tune modes directly in Unity whenever possible
• This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys moving quickly from an idea to a playable prototype, testing it and improving it
