Job summary

Billennium seeks an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design and scale production-grade ML systems. You will drive ML infrastructure, improve MLOps practices, and collaborate with data scientists to deliver reliable, scalable ML solutions.

You will lead Python-based services, ML pipelines, and deployment workflows, guiding engineers and data scientists in best practices while expanding cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
• Experience designing and maintaining production ML systems.
• Experience deploying ML in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Hands-on with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of MLflow, GitLab CI/CD, and model lifecycle management.
• Experience designing scalable data and ML pipelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Nice to Have: Master's/PhD, AWS SageMaker, monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable ML architectures and production systems.
• Build and improve MLOps processes, including CI/CD and experiment tracking.
• Collaborate with data scientists to deploy models into production.
• Develop and maintain Python-based services, ML infra, and deployment pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and data scientists on software engineering and ML best practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with cross-functional teams.
