Job summary

Salve.Lab is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own the development, deployment and continuous improvement of production-ready AI solutions. You will lead ML engineering, MLOps architecture and technical leadership to deliver scalable AI applications with measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of professional experience building, deploying and maintaining ML models in production.
• Advanced Python programming and strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of ML algorithms, evaluation and feature engineering.
• Practical experience with production ML challenges: drift, data quality, leakage and stability.
• Experience with distributed computing and ML lifecycle tools (Spark, MLflow).
• Proven ability to design CI/CD pipelines and monitor models in production.
• Excellent communication and leadership to mentor peers.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain ML models throughout their lifecycle, including training, validation and retraining.
• Lead applied AI solutions for customer lifetime value, churn, fraud and abuse prevention.
• Establish and optimise MLOps frameworks and automated deployment pipelines.
• Develop monitoring for model performance, data drift, data quality and business impact.
• Define retraining strategies, escalation procedures and governance documentation.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to build scalable data pipelines and reliable infra.
• Translate business challenges into practical AI solutions and metrics.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.
