Job summary

Luxoft seeks an experienced embedded Linux middleware engineer to design and develop middleware components, libraries, and system services for embedded platforms. You will work with firmware, cloud, and application teams across Poland and San Francisco to define interfaces and integration points.

You will optimize IPC, data flow, and resource usage, analyze bottlenecks, and debug across middleware, OS, and hardware layers to ensure reliability and scalability of embedded systems.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded and system-level development.
• Strong experience with Linux internals (system services, IPC, device drivers, kernel/user space interactions).
• Solid understanding of embedded system architecture, SoC components, and hardware/software interaction.
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python) for build, automation, and testing.
• Familiarity with common hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe).
