Position Summary
The Senior Metadata & Taxonomy Analyst is responsible for the configuration, execution, and quality control of content tagging and campaign taxonomy across enterprise content and marketing technology platforms. This role operates at the intersection of content systems and data workflows, ensuring that metadata and tagging structures are accurately implemented, maintained, and validated to support downstream analytics, reporting, and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
Tagging Execution and Quality Control
- Execute day‑to‑day content tagging and metadata application across enterprise platforms, including Veeva Vault (PromoMats / Vault Medical) for content metadata and asset classification, and Claravine for campaign and tactic tagging.
- Review and validate tagging accuracy, completeness, and consistency across content and campaigns.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure alignment with defined taxonomy and tagging standards.
- Manage and resolve tagging requests, including urgent or ad‑hoc requests from business teams.
Claravine Platform Configuration and Support
- Configure and maintain Claravine templates, including UTM taxonomy structures, campaign naming conventions, tracking parameters, validation rules, and automated checks.
- Support campaign setup processes, including UTM string generation and validation, and campaign and content ID assignment and tracking alignment.
- Troubleshoot template issues, validation errors, and campaign tagging discrepancies.
- Support onboarding of new campaigns, brands, and agencies into Claravine.
Metadata Management in Veeva Vault
- Apply and maintain metadata within Veeva Vault to ensure accurate content classification and organization.
- Support updates to metadata fields, picklists, and controlled vocabularies as defined by taxonomy governance.
- Perform audits and corrections to ensure metadata consistency across assets and regions.
- Partner with content teams to ensure proper tagging during asset creation, review, and deployment.
Data Quality and Validation Management
- Monitor tagging quality across systems and identify inconsistencies or gaps in metadata and campaign tracking.
- Execute validation processes to ensure data accuracy and readiness for downstream analytics.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies between content platforms, Claravine, and analytics systems.
- Support governance audits and periodic reviews of tagging accuracy and completeness.
Cross‑Functional Execution and Support
- Partner with the Tagging & Content Measurement Lead for taxonomy alignment and implementation.
- Partner with Enterprise Content Systems for platform‑related configurations and issue resolution.
- Partner with Data & Analytics teams for downstream data integration and reporting readiness.
- Partner with Digital Strategy & Enablement teams for campaign execution alignment and tagging requirements.
- Support internal stakeholders and agencies with tagging guidance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Participate in working sessions to align tagging execution with campaign and measurement needs.
Agency Enablement and Operational Support
- Support onboarding and training of agencies on tagging processes, tools, and requirements.
- Provide ongoing support for tagging execution, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Perform recurring checks and audits of agency tagging quality and compliance.
- Act as a point of escalation for tagging‑related issues and campaign readiness checks.
Operational Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve tagging workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase automation.
- Support implementation of system‑driven validation and standardized execution processes.
- Maintain documentation, job aids, and tagging guidelines for consistent execution.
- Contribute feedback to enhance taxonomy structures, templates, and platform capabilities.
Supervisor Responsibilities
- Provide operational guidance and day‑to‑day direction to agency partners and external resources supporting tagging execution and campaign tracking.
- Coordinate tagging activities across internal teams and vendors to ensure timely execution, quality control, and alignment with defined standards.
- Serve as a point of escalation for tagging issues, campaign setup challenges, and data quality concerns.
Required Skills
Hands‑on expertise with:
- Content tagging execution and metadata application within enterprise DAM platforms (Veeva Vault PromoMats / Vault Medical).
- Claravine or similar platform (UTM taxonomy, campaign tracking, validation).
Strong working knowledge of:
- Metadata schemas, controlled vocabularies, and taxonomy structures.
- Tagging quality control, validation processes, and data accuracy management.
- Campaign tracking frameworks, including UTM structures and attribution alignment.
- Data integration across content platforms, campaign tools, and analytics systems.
Familiarity with:
- Digital marketing workflows and omnichannel execution environments.
- Analytics and reporting ecosystems (e.g., GA4, dashboards, data warehouses).
- Agency workflows, onboarding, and operational support models.
- Data quality monitoring and issue resolution across interconnected systems.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience, preferably in: Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Management or Information Management, Information Science, Marketing Technology, Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related field.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in content operations, marketing technology, digital asset management, or data/analytics enablement, preferably within biotech, pharma, or life sciences.
- Hands‑on experience executing metadata tagging, taxonomy application, or campaign tracking within enterprise platforms.
- Experience with Veeva Vault (PromoMats / Vault Medical), Claravine, or similar DAM and campaign taxonomy tools.
- Strong understanding of metadata structures, tagging frameworks, and data quality principles in a regulated environment.
- Experience supporting content and campaign tracking workflows, including UTM tagging and validation processes.
- Familiarity with data integration across content systems, campaign tools, and analytics/reporting platforms.
- Experience working in cross‑functional environments with Digital Strategy & Enablement, Data & Analytics, and agency partners.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tagging requests, validations, and issue resolution in parallel.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with ability to identify and resolve data quality or tagging inconsistencies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to support stakeholders, agencies, and cross‑functional teams.
Travel
Minimal to moderate travel required. Estimated 5–15%, primarily for key planning sessions, vendor engagements, or major platform milestones.
Salary
Salary Range (Poland): 164,200.00PLN–205,200.00PLN.
