Position

Senior Software Engineer – Post Market Quality (PMQ) at Roche Diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Act as a highly autonomous technical investigator, dissecting complex, edge‑case software failures to perform root cause analysis while not being responsible for final bug fixes.
• Handle the entire case lifecycle: creation, classification, in‑depth investigation, collaboration with on‑site troubleshooting teams, documentation, and final resolution.
• Take ownership of transferring unresolved cases to the development department.
• Serve as a senior technical expert, reading and understanding complex source code across multiple programming languages to identify the root cause of software malfunctions.
• Master Roche’s internal quality processes and understand the regulatory background to justify decisions.
• Act as an interface with Affiliates and Country Organizations, ensuring timely communication of essential quality‑related information and supporting initiatives that enhance regional partnerships.
• Use automation and data analytics skills to improve the case handling process and proactively monitor product performance data.
• Serve as a trusted technical proxy for the Principal Engineer when required.

Qualifications
