Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking a Senior Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to join the team in Turek, Poland, for a 560MW CCGT power plant project. You will lead QA/QC on civil works, site coordination, and compliance with international standards.

The role requires 5–7 years in mechanical QA/QC in energy sectors, knowledge of ASME BPVC and BS-EN standards, and strong English communication. Polish skills and UDT registration experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Excellent command of English; Polish is a plus.
• 5–7 years in mechanical QA/QC in power plant or oil & gas.
• Familiar with ASME BPVC and BS-EN standards; NDT experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards and comply with HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with site team for quality issues and QA/QC activities.
• Issue RFIs and maintain inspection registers per ITP requirements.
• Verify equipment installation, calibration, and welding activities.
• Prepare hydrotest packs and perform completion checks.
• Support local authority registrations (UDT) for equipment.
