Job summary

Signify is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical / Materials Engineer to develop and deliver solutions for products operating in high environmental stress. You will design, test, and optimize hardware to ensure durability, reliability, and performance in aggressive environments, collaborating with global cross‑functional teams across the product lifecycle.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field, 5+ years' experience, and fluent English. ATEX exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a technical field (Mechanical/Materials/Chemistry).
• 5+ years of experience in industrial product development for harsh environments.
• Experience with materials selection for chemical corrosion resistance and reliability design.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and/or materials solutions from concept to release for high-stress environments.
• Design, test, and document subsystems and components to meet product requirements.
• Collaborate with global teams to drive innovation and IP creation.
