Job Description - Senior Material Planner – Assistant Manager – French– Hybrid Katowice

Job Summary

Inviting applications for the role of Senior Material Planner – Assistant Manager – French– Hybrid Katowice. The key to the role is to ensure sufficient material availability for internal demand fulfillment in the tactical horizon with a focus on managing material suppliers and resolving material bottlenecks.

Responsibilities
  • Set and manage replenishment strategy and associated parameters for raws & packs responsible in the network in line with inventory policies and targets
  • Review MRP output and inventory projections, manage material exceptions across the tactical horizon in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (Supply Network Planner, Commercial and Procurement, External Suppliers, etc.)
  • Share material forecast with Procurement and External Suppliers
  • Update MRP plan balancing inventory and capacity with the objective to meet material demand on-time and in full
  • Review supplier performance and identify issues and improvement opportunities, liaising with the Commercial and Procurement team
  • Track and manage phase-in/ phase-out of materials and BOM’s
  • Flag master data exceptions to Master Data Management Team
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math or other relevant degree
  • Strong understanding of at least advanced planning systems and its functionality
  • Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset
  • Demonstrated experience in supply planning (MRP planning, Inventory & Business waste management)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • An ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus
  • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn
