Job summary

TPConnects Technologies, Warsaw hub, seeks a Senior Quality Engineer with a full-stack mindset to grow test automation while maintaining hands-on manual testing. You will help ensure our cloud-native platform delivers reliability, quality and performance for global travel, testing across frontend and backend.

You’ll collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers and Architects through the development lifecycle, promoting quality from the start, driving automation, and applying AI-assisted testing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional QA/Quality Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with a full-stack mindset: someone who wants to grow in test automation while remaining comfortable with manual testing and test execution. You'll help ensure our platform delivers the reliability, quality and performance expected from software powering global travel, testing across both frontend and backend.

You’ll work closely with Engineers, Product Managers and Architects throughout the entire development lifecycle, helping teams build quality into the product from the very beginning rather than validating it at the end.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving engineering processes, driving test automation, challenging assumptions and helping teams deliver reliable software with confidence.

Our engineering teams build cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, React, MySQL, DynamoDB and microservices, with quality engineering embedded into every stage of development. Our test automation is written in TypeScript (Node.js) with Playwright and Cucumber.js, and reported in Allure.

AI-enhanced quality engineering

We use Claude AI coding assistants as part of our everyday engineering workflow to improve productivity and reduce repetitive work. Our Quality Engineers use AI to generate and improve test scenarios, accelerate test automation, analyse defects, create documentation and support exploratory testing.

While AI helps us work more efficiently, quality is still driven by engineering judgement, critical thinking and attention to detail.

What you’ll do

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Experience with functional, regression and exploratory testing.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Playwright, or Jest.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Experience with TypeScript / Node.js.
• Performance testing experience.
• Experience working with cloud-based SaaS platforms.
