As a Senior Manager, Software Engineering, you will guide multiple engineering teams in building simple solutions for complex scalability challenges. You will oversee product or platform development from roadmap planning through execution to production, while also engaging in hands-on engineering tasks.

What You’ll Do

• Own the engineering roadmap and collaborate with stakeholders to build quarterly plans.
• Manage teams by providing feedback, mentoring, coaching, and delegating effectively.
• Implement best practices for software development and documentation, ensure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
• Lead planning meetings, collaborate with peers, prioritize features, and work with urgency to deliver customer value.

What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Experience hiring and managing engineering teams.
• Proven success in project planning and execution.
• Strong background in algorithms, data structures, and coding.
• Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance.
• Experience with web infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices (unit testing, code reviews, design documents, architecture reviews).
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn.
