EY GDS Poland is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the development and growth of Digital Competencies within the Consulting Poland Organization. You will shape offerings, drive certifications, enable technical excellence, and ensure alignment with client needs.

This role manages a team of specialists, collaborates with leadership, practice heads, and delivery teams across IT and business projects, and builds partnerships with cloud providers to expand capabilities.

Qualifications

• 13+ years in IT consulting with digital transformation focus.
• Deep knowledge of cloud, data analytics, AI and business solutions.
• Proven competency development, enablement, or practice management.
• Strong leadership with 10+ years leading technical teams.
• Excellent project and stakeholder management.
• Relevant cloud/digital certifications desirable.
• Experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's in IT, business, or related field.
• Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and strategic thinking.
• Willingness to coach and mentor team members.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute the digital competency development strategy across the organization.
• Build, lead, and manage a high-performing team focused on digital technologies and solutions.
• Identify skill gaps, design training programs, and oversee certification initiatives to build a strong digital expertise base.
• Work closely with Sales, Delivery, and Solutioning teams to ensure digital capabilities align with client demand and strategic goals.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with key technology providers (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud) to leverage their programs, tools, and co-sell opportunities.
• Create roadmaps for capability building around cloud, data analytics, AI, business applications, and emerging technologies.
• Monitor and report on progress toward competency targets, certifications, and business impact.
• Support the design and launch of new digital-based services and solutions.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence within the organization.
• Act as an internal advocate and subject matter expert for digital technologies.
• Manage team performance, career development, and engagement through regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring.

The Digital is a fast-growing field of play within EY GDS that is currently looking for experts who have deep expertise and broad experience to build a bridge between business and technology with knowledge and Client’s interest.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to lead the development and growth of Digital Competencies within our Consulting Poland Organization. This individual will play a key role in shaping our digital service offerings, driving certifications, enabling technical excellence, and ensuring alignment with both business and client needs. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of specialists, fostering their growth, engagement, and performance. The role requires close collaboration with leadership teams, practice heads, and delivery teams across IT and business project services.

Your key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Digital Competency development strategy across the organization.
• Build, lead, and manage a high-performing team focused on digital technologies and solutions.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Minimum 13+ years of experience in the IT consulting industry, with a strong focus on digital transformation and technologies.
• Deep understanding of digital platforms, cloud ecosystems, data analytics, AI, and business solutions.
• Proven experience in competency development, technical enablement, or practice management.
• Strong leadership skills with at least 10+ years of experience managing technical or consulting teams.
• Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong technical experience, ideally in software development and/or architecture areas
• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, digital solutions, or project management are highly desirable.
• Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and influence at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Commitment to support the development of others through taking on coaching and counselling roles for team members
• Ability to think strategically, but also identify, develop and implement practical solutions
• Ability to network effectively within large organizations and build relationships with colleagues and clients
• Ability to lead new business development by highlighting potential opportunities for new engagements and responding to tenders
