Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is hiring a Senior/Lead UX/UI Designer for an AI-native product in a global financial services context. You will partner with the client’s Head of Design and a multidisciplinary team to shape a platform where complex decisions are clear and human-centered.

You will own design systems in Figma, connect Figma with the codebase using AI tooling, and define where AI accelerates design versus where human judgment is essential. On-site presence is required for five days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in UX/UI or product design at senior or lead level with a strong portfolio showing complex product work.
• Experience building and scaling design systems in Figma: tokens, components, governance.
• Proven ability to connect AI/LLMs to Figma and codebases, including building routers or Markdown-based guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine end-to-end experiences for a new AI-native product within a global design team.
• Own design system governance and ensure alignment with coded counterparts in repository and Storybook.
• Create Figma-to-code bridge using AI tools so design decisions flow into code reliably.
• Structure AI context in repository with Markdown guidance, routing and component linkage.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners and QA in an AI-native SDLC.
• Present design rationale to client stakeholders and iterate quickly.

EPAM Design Studio in Poland is hiring a Senior / Lead UX/UI Designer for a new client engagement: an AI-native product built end-to-end for a global financial-services client. You will work as an extension of the client’s design team, partnering directly with their Head of Design and a multidisciplinary delivery team to shape a platform that makes complex decisions clear, transparent and human-centered.This role sits where design systems, code and AI meet. Beyond crafting great experiences, you will help build the bridge between Figma and the codebase, so that both engineers and AI agents consistently follow the design system, design principles and accessibility standards.
