Job summary

Luxoft is building a trading platform from the ground up, delivering a front-office system for traders, pre-trade checks, and analysis. The team will handle intra-day positions, order routing, risk management, and trading activity reports with FIX connectivity and market data integrations.

We seek a senior front-end engineer with expert React and TypeScript skills, strong UI design pattern knowledge, and a passion for building high-performance data-rich interfaces using modern state management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Expert-level proficiency in React with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of UI design patterns and TS/JS patterns.
• Proven experience with global state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, MobX, Recoil, etc.).
• Strong CSS/CSS-in-JS and design system knowledge; problem solving and debugging skills.
• Experience integrating UI with backend services via REST APIs and WebSockets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end applications focused on a trading platform.
• Collaborate with UI/UX and backend teams following SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Building a trading platform for innovative international top-tier hedge fund from the ground up, comprising of front-office system for traders, pre-trade checks and analysis, intra-day positions management, order management and routing, risks and limits management, reports of trading activities, FIX connectivity, market data providers connectivity (e.g. Bloomberg B-pipe).

Responsibilities

• The Team is focused on the development and maintenance of various applications. The successful candidate will have considerable and proven experience in React, a good working knowledge of end-user and server-side data processing techniques, a good understanding of SDLC and agile development methodologies.

SKILLS

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldExpert-level proficiency in React (or equivalent modern UI framework) with TypeScript/JavaScriptStrong understanding of React UI design patterns and commonly used TypeScript/JavaScript patternsProven experience with multiple global state management libraries (e.g. Redux, Zustand, MobX, Recoil, or similar)Strong passion for UI styling - deep knowledge of CSS, CSS-in-JS, and design systemsStrong background in problem solving and debugging complex front-end issuesExpertise integrating UI with backend services (REST APIs, WebSockets)

Nice to have

• Experience with ag-Grid for high-performance data table rendering
