Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or design is required.
• Postgraduate degree/diploma in Landscape Architecture preferred.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential.
• Experience in large-scale multidisciplinary projects is advantageous.
• Strong writing and report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Creative lead on projects as a designer.
• Work on large international projects, mainly in the Middle East.
• Produce sustainable concept and detail landscape designs.
• Prepare and contribute to Design Stage Reports.
• Collaborate with overseas landscape offices to develop concepts to detailed designs.
• Coordinate with internal and external design teams (urban designers, architects, planners, engineers).
• Ensure deliverables are submitted on time and to high quality.
• Represent the company in meetings and client presentations; QA system is applied.
• Monitor work quality within and outside the Landscape Department.

THE REQUIREMENT

We are looking for adaptable, enthusiastic and established designer to lead projects for the Landscape Department

THE ROLE

Key accountabilities

• Creative lead on projects as a designer
• Working on large international projects, predominately within the Middle East
• Producing sustainable concept and detail landscape designs
• Preparing, writing and contributing to Design Stage Reports
• Working together with the Company’s other landscape design offices overseas to help carry through concept designs to the detailed landscape design stage
• Working collaboratively with internal design departments and external consultants including urban designers, architects, planners and infrastructure engineers etc.
• Contributing to deliverables and ensuring that they are submitted on time and to the highest quality
• Interacting with the Client representatives through meetings and presentations to represent the company’s interests
• Ensuring the Company’s QA system is always applied
• Monitoring of work produced by others within and external to the Landscape Department in the process of preparing reports and documentation for issue

Work Experience

• Firm understanding of design process
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary consultancy is an advantage
• Excellent presentation skills
• Experience of working in large scale projects

Key Qualifications and Responsibilities

• A bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture/Design and preferably a postgraduate degree/diploma in Landscape architecture;
• A sound understanding of design processes and a good technical knowledge that can be shared and inspire the wider team;
• An ability to execute with design excellence and attention to detail
• The ability to sketch/develop designs on paper and digitally
• Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in working on a variety of scales and typologies varying from master planning to Site specific landscape.
• Experience on projects from schematic design to construction documentation
• Competent writing, communication and presentation skills;
• Competent in written and spoken English and have good report writing abilities.
• Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
• Initiative, motivation and be a team player
