About the Role
As a Senior Kotlin Backend Developer in our Consulting division, you will contribute to diverse implementation projects and collaborate with agile teams to meet both project and client objectives. We are seeking passionate developers ready to take our projects to the next level. You will work with a modern technology stack and have the opportunity to implement innovative solutions alongside industry-leading professionals. As part of our global team, you will engage in international projects utilizing the latest data technologies and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a new application using Kotlin and microservices architecture
• Collaborate with agile team members to deliver project goals
• Participate in design, development, and testing activities

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin for backend development (3+ years of experience)
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Quarkus and OpenAPI is a plus
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with at least one database engine
• Experience with source code management, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment
• Additional knowledge of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and Maven is advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Experience working in international and agile/scrum-based projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or a related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate IT environment in a similar role
• Proven experience with Kotlin and microservices in real-world projects
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
• Relevant certifications in Kotlin, Java, Spring, SQL, AWS, or Azure
