Job summary

Tesco Poland is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Colleague Benefits domain. You will contribute to Java 21 services, focus on performance, security, and reliability, and help shape features for our enterprise APIs used across Tesco payroll systems.

With around 6+ years in the JVM ecosystem, you will lead implementations with minimal direction, collaborate across teams, and drive technical leadership while embracing Agile practices in a hybrid office/remote setup.

Qualifications

• Around 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer within the JVM ecosystem.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of language and framework; good knowledge of underlying abstraction layer.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical strategy and lead implementation.
• Minimal directions and collaboration with SDEs across teams.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to influence strategy.

• Define features for services owned by your team.
