Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a team delivering a modern enterprise data integration and processing platform for global logistics and transportation. You will design and implement scalable backend services, microservices, and event-driven integrations using Java and Spring Boot.

You will participate in architecture discussions, modernize legacy apps, and ensure cloud-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of commercial software development with Java backend expertise.
• Strong production experience with Apache Kafka.
• Proven ability to design and build microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with distributed systems and enterprise integrations.
• Ability to contribute independently to technical design discussions.
• Very good English communication skills; international collaboration.
• Residence in Poland; CCDAK certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices in Java/Spring Boot.
• Implement event-driven data processing using Apache Kafka.
• Build enterprise integrations via APIs, messaging platforms, and asynchronous communication.
• Participate in architectural discussions and advise on distributed systems.
• Modernize legacy applications into scalable, cloud-ready solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across distributed environments.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders on data integration initiatives.
