Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team building a modern enterprise data integration and processing platform that supports logistics and transportation on a global scale. You will focus on developing scalable backend services, microservices, and event-driven integrations within a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of commercial software development experience with senior Java backend expertise.
• Strong hands-on production experience with Apache Kafka.
• Experience designing microservices, scalable backend services and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with distributed systems and enterprise integrations.
• Ability to contribute independently to technical design discussions.
• Excellent English communication; Poland resident.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement event-driven data processing with Apache Kafka.
• Build enterprise integrations via APIs and messaging platforms.
• Participate in architecture discussions and advise on distributed patterns.
• Modernize legacy apps into scalable, cloud-ready solutions.
• Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders on data integration initiatives.
