Job summary

GFT Technologies SE in Kraków is seeking a Senior Java ETL Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

You will drive ETL data migration projects, implement CI/CD and DevOps practices, mentor engineers, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to coding standards, testing, and production support in a hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Framework, REST API, and ETL.
• Experience with system integration, data migration and data transformation.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall environments; DevOps, CI/CD.
• Strong SQL/NoSQL skills; Jira/Confluence/Git/Jenkins/Ansible/SonarQube; JUnit.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise applications across the full software lifecycle.
• Develop ETL solutions for data integration and migration initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Support Agile and Waterfall project delivery; drive quality.
• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps, and release processes.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
